ABOUT THE SOUTH SAN DIEGO SBDC
The south San Diego Small Business Development Center network provides a vast array of technical assistance to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in south San Diego County. By supporting business growth, sustainability and enhancing the creation of new business through advising, low-cost training and other specialized services south San Diego clients receive; the program remains one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government.
Committed to a growing, vibrant small business community, the SBDC has provided south San Diego small businesses with critical information and tools for over twenty years. South San Diego SBDC is hosted by Southwestern College. All networks in the region serve small and developing businesses throughout south San Diego County.
The SBDC's top priority is to support and empower small businesses growth. Through its team of dedicated professionals, the SBDC helps entrepreneurs develop and expand their operations. This partnership fosters the job creation and retention, capital investments, and dynamic innovation that foster a consistent improvement in quality of life for our community.

This mission is accomplished by assisting local small businesses and entrepreneurs build a foundation for individual and company success through individual counseling, organized business education, and innovative special programs.
For over twenty years, the SBDC has been helping San Diego area small businesses succeed by providing the information and tools they need. Based at Southwestern College, the San Diego SBDC serves the area along Interstate 8, including Mission Valley, Del Cerro, and East County. Also served are businesses south of Interstate 8 to the International Border, including National City, Chula Vista, Southeast San Diego, San Ysidro, Coronado, South San Diego, and Imperial Beach.
